The Murshidabad Kings and Kueens are a proud franchise in the Bengal Pro T20 League representing the Murshidabad and Nadia districts of West Bengal. The Kings’ team is captained by Sudip Gharami, one of the leading batsmen of the Bengal Cricket team, while Deepti Sharma who is one of the best all rounder of the Indian Cricket team and ranks 2 internaltionally as an all rounder and 4th as a batsman will wear the armband for the Kueens.
The Murshidabad Kings franchise is owned by JJ Sport Ventures Pvt. Ltd., a newly formed consortium from the esteemed houses of Jalan Builders and Pritam Electricsal, two renowned business entities in West Bengal.
Our mission is to cultivate a winning culture, both on and off the field. We aim to provide a platform for the talents of our state and from the districts of Murshidabad, Nadia and surrounding areas by exposing them to professional training and world class infrastructure.
Our priority also is to engage extensively with the Bengal community through cricket camps, workshops, and events and the franchise wants to promote the sport immensly in the rural areas of the state to nurture future players.
Pritam Electricals, established in the early 1980s, is primarily engaged in the manufacturing of electrical switches, switchgears, cables, and various other products with a significant presence and distribution network across West Bengal. Led by the third generation, Yash and Arpit Jain, Pritam Electricals continues to soar to new heights, driven by innovation and a commitment to quality.
Jalan Builders, with a legacy spanning nearly 45 years, specializes in real estate development and infrastructure projects. The Jalan Group is at the forefront of industrial and logistics park development, along with other commercial real estate ventures. Additionally, they are venturing into the hospitality sector and are in the process of establishing an e-commerce platform. Well motivated and futuristic, they are driven by their passion for development and growth.
Organized by Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB), the Bengal Pro T20 League is the official T20 league of West Bengal. Mentored by cricket legends Sourav Ganguly and Juhlan Goswami, this league aims to further enhance the legacy of the state as a cricketing powerhouse by producing national level cricketers.
